The “Celebrating Achievement” Awards are Derbyshire Constabulary’s opportunity to reward those brave members of the public who have shown outstanding courage or resilience in the face of overwhelming odds, as well as recognising the contributions made by Police officers, police staff and volunteer specials who have displayed personal courage and commitment in the execution of their duties.
Kavita Oberoi attended as the guest of honour to the Chief Constable, and is said to have “captured the spirit of the evening in her address about changing people’s lives and the personal rewards of giving something back.”
